Testimonial:

For the first time in nine years of taking minutes I used a laptop at our November 16th Board meeting instead of taking them by hand. I have to admit I was really nervous at first, but as the meeting (2 1/2 hours) went on I became more relaxed. Remembering tips from your workshop helped to streamline the minutes greatly. I truly wish I had known about this workshop long before now as it would have saved me a lot of unnecessary stress!

~ Joyce E. Chance, Greenhills School

I found that Rhonda used relevant examples and had a great connection with the learners. We were all fully engaged and learned a lot of new topics as well as built on current skills and abilities. I have my next meeting Friday and will definitely be using many of the skills Rhonda taught!

~ Sheri Cherriere, The Meadows of Dorchester, Niagara Region

I really enjoyed this session. Rhonda’s method of presenting her data/information, kept us involved and entertained. I definitely walked away from the session with new knowledge.

~ Amber Faris, Environmental Health, Public Health

Rhonda was very personable and engaging. The exercises were practical and well thought-out. She shared the most up-to-date changes and information in minute taking .

~ Siegrid Wright, Organizational & Foundational Standards, Public Health

I just wanted to take the time to say a big thank you for a wonderful day yesterday.

Not only did I learn much in Minute Taking (like I was still doing it ‘old school’ way) but you kept us engaged and entertained throughout the training session.

Thank you for all the tips and tricks and of course the assistance offered for a year too.

Just knowing I can call on you if in doubt, makes me feel more at ease in knowing I have minutes to take at the upcoming AGM later this month!

I will certainly pass your name around in the event I hear of someone needing some training that you offer.

~ Annie Coetzee, SHARE Family & Community Services

Rhonda has some wonderful insights and tips for minute taking. I’ve been taking minutes since 2006 and learned some very valuable information. She stays current with the trends and best practices and incorporates this in a fun and interactive way.

Thank you so much! This will benefit me both in my job as well as my many volunteer activities (I always end up taking minutes somewhere). Also, I purchased 3 of her books that she had on sale and can’t wait to jump into those. Life is just a big learning process and it’s nice to know who to do go for some of those administrative questions we all have.

~ Terry Lynn Jones, Medavie Blue Cross

“Excellent workshop. A lot of detail covered”

~Karen Wood, Region of Waterloo

I attended Rhonda’s class on Minute Taking Made Easy and since that point have switched to using a laptop. With preparation beforehand, the minutes are pretty well done by the end of the meeting.

~Susan Poseika, DMC Mining Services

I arranged for Rhonda to come to our company to do a Minute Taking Course (which was very convenient). When I asked my peers if they were interested in this course I had an overwhelming response. Rhonda provided a fun and engaging day – I went back to work with may tips and tricks to use right away in my minute taking. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone!

~ Carol Cocomello, City of Mississauga

The hardest component of your recommendations for me to implement was using bullet points. This week I had a meeting, and somehow I erased the recording. I was able to complete the minutes without it, and in record time. It boosted my confidence on being able to kick the recorder out of my toolbox.

~ Martha B. Sturtevant, Office of the State Treasurer
